Nicky Hopkins (Feb. 24, 1944 – 1994) was an English pianist and organist, best known as a session man for The Who, The Kinks, a.m.o. - and in particular as one of the favorite keyboardists of The Rolling Stones (he played on Exile on Main Street, Their Satanic Majesties Request, Beggars Banquet and several other Stones albums between 1967 and 1976)… Hopkins’ 1973 solo album The Tin Man Was a Dreamer is a fine effort, too.
