Today, Dec. 15, is also the birthday of Ray-Bernice Alexandra Kaiser Eames, one half of the designer couple, Charles and Ray Eames (1912 - 1988).
The Eames’s created iconic furniture (molded plywood being the material of choice), decorative objects and the famous Eames House. They also ventured into photography and film making.
